We are determined to learn how to cook! We would love for someone to gather our family and friends’ favorite recipes into one book for us. The more adventurous the recipe, the better...and we love ethnic food! (Note: Alex is allergic to peanuts.)

Our skills are so lacking in the cooking department that we’re sure we’re going to need more help than just a cookbook. We would love a few lessons that cover the basics!

Would any of our many talented friends like to be our photographer on our special day? Nothing high pressure: we’re just looking for a handful of posed shots and a lot of fun candids.

Anybody willing to “gift” us your big yard for the evening of our rehearsal dinner? We’ll bring the food, the music, and the games…we just need a space! We’re expecting between 25 and 30 people.

Calling all quilters! Instead of a traditional guest book that will just get dusty on a shelf, we’re looking for someone to coordinate and make a “quilt guest book” for us. (Then we can think of you on cold winter nights!) Use your skills to help us sew together the squares that we’re having people sign at our reception.

Instead of store-bought dishes, we’re hoping a group of you will get together and paint us some awesome pottery (and if you invite us along for the party, even better!). There’s a place in town that’s great: The Polka Dot Pot!
